Help I cant find the white mushroom!

I am like 41% done and I can't find the white mushroom for the trade for the egg palnt.. So if any one could help because I am really stuck!!!

To get the white mushroom, all you have to do is now and agen go inside the cave with the dead pirate and pick up the mushrooms, it sometimes won't be there but if you keep doing this you will finally pick it up...
I hoped I explained everything alright...?
