Ghost ship on B3

Ghost ship on B3
Stuck on the Ghost ship B3 I have gone up and hit the swich so trap spikes come up and I can't get into the place where all the oil drums are and I think theres a button in there. Plus when I pull the levers in the order: 2 4 5 1 3(ive done it from right to left and from left to right) the flares wont die so what do I do. Please help me.

I think you have the order wrong, the right order is:
_|_ _|_ _|_ _|_ _|_
2nd 4th 5th 1st 3rd

You do first do 1 second do 2 third do 3 fourth do 4 fith do 5 I just got passed that part
