defeating Jolene

Just wait for her to attack you, move out of her way and attack from the back. Don't try to take her head on, because it's just a wast of time.

I am stuck on the same thing. After 3 hits from the back she blocks all the attacks.........

Keep moving to stay away from her while she does her swipes back and forth. When she does a big lunge forward she always pauses after, so (assuming she didn't hit you) you try to run behind her and stab her. You can get a few good jabs in before she starts moving again. You've got to do this a few times - I think she's got 3 lives.

Ive been trying that but she blocks the attacks. I do it with an action replay and still she blocks it after the third hit.

she blocks it becoz your not attacking her after she lunges. keep hitting her but then move slowly away from her making sure she cant get at you. eventually, she draws back her sword and makes a big lunge at you, she will then pause giving you just a fe seconds to hit her(on her back, if you do it on her front, she just defends herself with her shield!)after you hit her 3 times, her sword flings out of her hand and then she runs off the boat.

I driously don't know what the creators of Zelda were thinking! How is any one supposed to defeat he!?!?!?

I just deafeted her the third time hit her then rub the screen so the sword slippes straight out of her hand

When you hit her the third time on the back she blocks so I beleive you should rub the bottom screen and you win

I don't know why you guys are having trouble defeating Jolene.Linebeck even explains how to defeat her. Come on people, it's not rocket science. The moment she is preparing to attack in slow-motion, you get behind her and attack her back AFTER she does the attack. She only has 3 hitpoints. After you've connected with her 3 times, then just attack her once more (this time you don't have to wait for her to do a special attack, just attack anytime) and your sword and her scimitar will clash. Then you will have to rub the screen fast. If you are successful, the sword will be knocked out of her hand and get stuck in the floor. If not, then you'll get knocked on the floor and lose a whole heart. After her scimitar get stuck in the floor she says something then leaves. Linebeack who is hiding in the crate, will give you something after you beat her the first few times then nothing afterwards. If you still can't beat her after this or you don't understand, put down your ds, pop out the game cart and either (1) sell it and play nintendogs or(2) buy dr kawashima's brain training game and play it religiously for a year then read this again and re-attempt to fight Jolene.

You wait until she draws back hed sword, then run behind her and attack. If this does not help, then throw the boomerang at her back to stun her.
