please help!stuck on ice castle
I'm on the ice island and I have defeated the six monsters,once in the entrance how the hell do I get through the red and blue blocks which are blocking my way?and what are the gold coloured posts in aid of?

If you have a grappling hook or hookshot (can't remember which) you can hit those posts at the same time and use the rope as a human slingshot to fly over the blocks. You still have the item, just tap again and you'll twirl it around again. If you don't have the item, then there's more to explore (there always is).
