I am near dead in age, so I have so trouble with this game. How the heck do I turn off the fan under the ship so I can get that darn star!?!?!?!?!? I have had it since Christmas, and have 13 stars, NO LAUGHING! I work and take care of a family and need all the help I can get. (plus, I am aging quickly) One other quicky, I hate those damm ice slides. Please help an older person who loves the game but just can't seem to quite get it.

You don't turn the fan off. Enter the level as wario then hit the read floaty box thing to get his special power. This will allow wario to walk underwater and over the fan to get the star.
The trick with the ice slides is just practice. Try staying as close to the middle as possible.

Umm...yeah just use wario and get the nearby power flower so hes metal and you'll have no problem getting up to the star....
And what ice slides?
