Question for Super Mario 64 DS

I'd have to thank everyone who helped me. But, I still need help. I would like to know where all the glowing rabbits are. I only caught one and that was on the castle grounds. He said that there were seven left, and that he was the second fastest of all eight! Not to mention, he doesn't give me anything! Why won't he give me anything? Where are all the glowing rabbit's? If one of them do give you something, what do they give you?

If you get all the glowing rabbits you'll get a star from the white room (the blank door in the switching room).Most of the glowing rabbits are either yoshi's,luigi's,or mario's.It's easier when you have 80 stars.They appear randomly.
