Question for Super Mario 64 DS

I'm stuck on the part YOSHI'S ICE SCULPTURE in SNOWMAN'S LAND. Well someone please tell me how to get the star thats in the ice cube.

Be Yoshi and get a power flower or eat a flame and melt the ice.You'll have to jump and breathe fire to get to the higher ones.

The ice on the left when you spawn has that star just get a power flower with yoshi and then use the fire breath to melt the ice that has the star in it
