How do you get to the roof and loigi to get the star. I heard there was a secret path

Well you get on the roof by having all the stars and going to the cannon by the little pond area and the only secret area outside is when you drain the water from under the bridge area and then theres a brick blocking a open hole which you use Wario to smash and go into.
