When I first played super Mario 64 DS, I was doing yoshi and I walked up to the door with the big star on it and suddenly I heard peach's voice say mario over here Help. What does that mean?

Ok, so let me get this straight. You have to rescue Mario first in order to open the door with the big star on it. Then you use one of your stars to open the door. Straight ahead you will see a painting that looks like Princess Peach, but watch out! It's a trap then the painting will turn to Bowser & you will fall into his trap.
