Thanks to all who has helped but I missed a level and I can't figure out what to do how do I melt the ice to get the star and also where is shifting sand land I don't think iv done that one yet

I'm sure there's a way into the large pile of ice cubes from the top of the pile. When you get on top, there should be a hole you can jump in. You can reach the Star from there.

Shifting Sand Land is a tricky one to find. It's in the basement. Continue going past the portrait to the Lava Land (or whatever it's called...I always forget) and you'll come to what appears to be a dead end. However, the wall will appear to ripple, like portraits do when you get close to them. Jump at the wall, and you'll go right through into Shifting Sand Land.

The star that is frozen in the ice in cool cool mountain you have to be wario and break the ice with a ground pound then press the star switch and for the shifting sand land it's passed the lethal lava land into the wall that looks like a dead end

To get the star you have to be yoshi and get fire to met the ice and u will get the star

I already tried that trick, but it's not working cause Yoshi cannot fire that ice by looking down.... If you know how to do it, tell me how should I do?
