I have been able to acquire 25 stars however I am beginning to have problems proceeding. Frist of all I am trying to figure out how to acquire a wing cap for Mario. 2nd I have the light shining down in the main castle and I get a message saying "A voice from above is saying. Hey... Marios..." and can't figure out what to do from here. Can anyone help me?

Switch to first person view by pushing x when looking up at the light it will take you to a level that is where you will find the ? Mark switch the ? Mark switch will make you have the winged hat in some worlds in others it can be the botton mario, if your wario it makes you metal, and if your yoshi it makes you blow fire ! Good luch !!!
