On the final boss how do you brake the sheild to hit the boss

You just normal attack him until he gets down to about 600 health. Do not use the final form spectrobe or he will never put his sheild down. Once he is at about 600 hp he puts his sheild up. I avoided him for a minute or two then punched him with the main character. His sheild went down and I hit him with he spectrobes then final attacked him with the final form.
Normal hit him until he gets to about 600 hp. The his sheild goes up. I punched him then geoed him you can do it the other way I think..... Geo then attack. But Always normal hit at the begging
just use geo when he put his shield up. Make sure you DON'T use your geo tilll he puts up his shield
