My friend gave me this game so I never got the handbook. Whats the investigation button on this game.

Well pretty much it you just click on a random square on the map you have at the time in the build section, and it shows you a short review of it, how much value, who owns it how flammable, etc.

If you go to the first box you'll see a question mark. Then you click on anything your wondering about, the townsfolk will tell you about each building but if your in the Freeplay, and nobody is in your city, nobody or nothing will tell you what it is. If your in the older times, the townsfolk won't say it much clearly or not give you much information about the place you are wanting to know about.
