How do you get rid of the big rocks and tree stumps

For the tree stumps you need a lumber axe, then you have to fully charge it three times and then you get 10 woods for it.
The same with the big rocks. You have to get a iron hammer and fully charge it three times and then the rock is broke, but!!! For breaking thee big rocks you wont get anything!!
