Question for Pokemon Soul Silver
How do I get to the Ice Path? Every time I try going through Route 44, some guy stops me and says to go sightseeing. What should I do?

You can't go to Route 44 until you defeat Team Rocket in Mahogany Tower and in the Radio Tower. You need to go up to the lake of Rage once there you will meet up with Lance and then head back to Mahongany Town, once there enter the Souvenir Shop and find Team Rockets Base, go through it and defeat the team Rocket members, after that you should be able to challenge the Mahogany Gym, defeat the gym leader and just as you leave you get a call from Professor Elm.
After you get that Call and Fly back to Goldenrod City where Team Rocket is in the Radio Tower. Once you defeat Team Rocket in the Radio Tower head back to Mahongeny Town and you should be able to get past the guy and continue on your way to Route 44
