You have to trade it to diamond or pearl but for that you need 2 NDS
The M-A-N-E-F-Y egg will not hatch in Pokemon ranger. You must send out the message to all Sinnoh trainers and then put a Pokemon diamon in a different DS while keeping the first one on. Then you press on rescue the egg and it transfers.
You mean Manaphy. The only way to get it to hatch is to use WiFi to put the egg onto Diamond or Pearl.

The Manaphy egg does NOT hatch in Ranger. If you want to get a manphy, and you have Pokemon Diamond or Pokemon Pearl, follow these steps:
Get mystery gift by going to the 3rd floor of Jublife TV station and talk to a guy and say: "EVERYBODY HAPPY" and then you have to say something else to him but I forgot what. Then insert Ranger into the other DS and go to ranger net, then check the egg then press a. In Diamond/Pearl go to mystery gift and go to recieve manaphy egg or something else. Then if you have at max 5 Pokemon in your party, go to any poke mart in sinnoh and collect the egg. Once the egg hatches, breed to get phione.
