Could you please explain more about how to capture Pokemon? I'm just getting started and could do with a few pointers. Thanks!

No I cannot tell you that, but I can suggest that you look in the book that came with the game so you can get a few pointers there. Hope this helps.
You have to use the pen that came with the DS, you draw circles around the Pokemon that you are trying to capture, but don't let the Pokemon run into the line.
