I lent a friend a male charmander he claims he turned it into a female Charmeleon. Is this possible? Please let me know. Thank you.

Well actually it can be. If he has Pokesav and a actoion replay he could very well completely copied your Pokemon but with a different gender. So it looks the exact same just different gender. Also he could have a code to change the gender of a pokemon.
Hope this helps

No, it is not possible without an action replay device and the only way I know that is because I read 808gamer's reply
There is a code to change the gender of a Pokemon.
He may have used a Pokesav and an Action Replay to copy your Pokemon just with a different gender.
So he may not be lying.
In some of the older games, that used to happen to me often. It was a common glitch (As is, many of the games HAD the glitch) that not many people actually noticed. It happened to Pokemon rarely though,(As in, even if the glitch was there, it wasn't even 25% of the time.) but the older games had many other glitches as well. The generation 1 and 2 games especially. I found a green zubat once, thats how glitchey and full of easter-eggs they were.
