how to play on wifi on platinum
Okay heres my story. I got platinum and got to the first gym and met a kid that told me his friend code, but my sister erased the game. Now I can't get find a way to get the friend code. I really want to play online, but I can't remember which kid is the one with the friend code. can you guys tell me which character in Pokemon platinum tells you his friend code?(i really want to trade a haunter and battle!)

Comment:(Aug 5 2009) actually, the lady says "you must register a friend code to be able to access this room" and can you even pla against people around the world?

Okay,well it's not a kid that you meet that gives you your friend code.If you have a computer or laptop,you noticed there is a modem (wiresless connecter for easier).If the modem is turned on,turn on your game.There are a few ways to get your friend code (you also need the pal pad).One way which is the easiest,go to Jubilife City,and go into the GTS (Global Trade Station) Building,register onto the Globe,then talk to the the counter lady (remember,your modem has to be turned on so your DS can connect wireless and recieve your friend code) then get out,go to your key items in the bag and go to your pal pad and click on yourself and your friend code will be there already registered,another is to use the Union Room in the Pokemon center by taking the stairs on the right which takes you down to the 3rd floor.Talk to a lady on the left and just do whatever clicking on stuff to enter the Union Room,once you are in there,get out and your friend code will be registered in your pal pad.Sorry if it's long.Hoped I helped,rate please.
