Pikachu Help

I have a Pikachu and when I try to raise it (Its lv.24 and I battle Lv.20) pikachu gets knocked out in one shot. Any Suggestions?

Was it a critical hit? Was it a ground attack? Unless it was that I don't know what to tell you

Switch out your Pikachu for a stronger Pokemon (it still gains exp) or you the exp gain on Pikachu and don't use it untill it gets stronger.

Well, first, try battling weaker Pokemon. The more battles, the more experience, and if you can't win a battle, you won't get experience. You can also try the Exp. Share or switch out Pokemon as you need to.

Also, what type of Pokemon were you battling? Because Ground types have an advantage, and Pikachu's attacks don't have much effect on Electric, Ground, Grass, and Dragon Pokemon.

Oh, and try teaching it more diverse moves with TMs. That almost always helps, no matter what level Pokemon you have.

I know because I raised a pikachu and it has a very, very, very low defence and special defence all pikechu do so I suggest you give it iron, zinc, or level it up holding a power belt, or a power band. Hope this helps
