No cheat option

I have platinum on the R4 card, where you do the thing, where you download games off the internet for free legally. When I go to pearl, there is a thing that says cheat(y). On platinum there is no thing like that so where do you put the codes?

They should be a file called cheat code editor for your R4DS card and you click on that then enter the codes you want.
