To record a battle you must do wifi battles with a friend (not the GTS)
To battle go to a Pokemon center top floor another friend must do the same thing and battle. Good Luck!

To record a battle, you must battle with a friend. Whether it would be Wi-fi or just link, I know not, but I think it is either/or. Also, you may record battles at the Battle Frontier. Hope this helps.

If you want to record a battle, either fight someone on wi-fi or at the battle frontier. Otherwise, you can't.
