When is it coming out
I have two questions
1. When is it coming out in Australia?
2. My friend said you can't trade to or from Pokemon Diamond and Pearl, Is that true?

And probably not until at least mid to late 2009. That is the way it is for us Aussies.
I believe that they wouldn't limit trading between games on the same console, so I think that trading will be fine.

Question #1 :: The game will release in 2009, it's possibly Spring 2009 for United States, I would say maybe mid to late 2009 for other countries besides US and Japan, mainly cause Japan already has there copies.
Question #2 :: You will be able to trade with Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Pearl, there will be nothing to stop that from happening. I really don't believe Nintendo would do such a thing like that, using WiFi is very powerful.
