I am a mudkip, just started a new file,what Pokemon would work best with mudkip?

Mudkip is a water type, obviusly a fire type will work well with it(when mudkip evolves then the only weakness he has is grass) however, if you take a fire type partner, prepare to deal with iq skills that will sacrefise his def for att and iq skills that will barely enhance the dumb ai leaving you with a partner that will die quickly but at the same time dish out a lot of damage,if you do not care about iq then go with a fire type,if you do care about iq and a good ai, go with eevee and let him evolve into flareon afterwards,eevee will learn good partner based iq skills
