I download some action replay codes that told me to press y to use them. When I did nothing happened. Are there codes like these that are for the dsi action replay?

Yes. But I don't know any. So, ask someone with a DSi AR to make codes for you.
Every ar is the same well how they work anyway but you might of type the code wrong is all because I have to different ar and the code work just fine you should look on codejunkies for the codes you are looking for
