I chose Tepig for my starter, but I don't know what other Pokemon I should catch for my team. Can someone please help me!

I would try to catch as many pkmn as you can on your adventure, it is easier to battle different gym leaders 
. U can get a free pansage in dreamyard also

Collet all Pokemon for you're team so you can complete the pokedex too

To make your team get strong use opposites.
Ex:Tepig- a water Pokemon
Oshawott- a grass Pokemon
Snivy- a fire Pokemon

Try to get Pokemon that evolve quite easily without trade, so I would go keeping the pansage you would get then someone in castelai asks "which would you evolve? Pansage panpour or pansear" say pansage since you have one, and the person gives you a leaf stone to evolve pansage into simisage I would also get a fraxure at victory road to evolve into haxorus, it's very powerful and helps when you when you battle ghetsis
