You can every Pokemon by a few ways. You can use Wi-Fi to obtain every Pokemon by Trading. You can Poke Transfer Pokemon from previous Pokemon Games. You could also obtain every Pokemon by an Action Replay Code.

You could trade, migrate, or catch pokemon. Many generation 1-4 Pokemon can be caught in eastern routes, via the Dream World, and by the use of the Super Rod.
