Do you mean those brown edges you see every once in a while? You can jump over them but it's impossible to jump back unless you have AR.

well NOW i know what an ar is anyway.Michael answered:
If your on the right side of a lift, you cannot jump it. You are going to have to find an alternate route for where you are at.
