Your Pokemon doesn't gain experience if it:
Faints while in battle (though if revived before opponent Pokemon is fainted it'll gain the xp)
Lv 100, which is the highest level.

I think youre right.Guest answered:
I think you had level 100s and you can't get exp from Pokemon anymore because if you had all of your Pokemon level 100 you cannot get exp from Pokemon.
