To delete an existing game, hold the Up Button, Select Button, and B Button at the same time on the Game's Menu. This should erase the existing game.

Press up b select at the the same time I did that once and I lost all of my data

Resetting the game is actually quite simple just press select and b at the same time this is my first code and there will be more but I know this is correct because I've done it.
