Nothing really happens. All she basically does is disappear. It is a spirit of a girl who use to play in that area before the Marvelous Bridge was built.

Nothing happens really, she appears there because she use to play there when she was human.

I wasn't aware that you could talk to the ghost girl. I thought she dissapeared when you got close. Either way, she serves the same purpose as the ghosts in the Old Chateau in Eterna Forest in the Sinnoh games, to add a bit of atmosphere to the game.
