All you must do is go into your DS Menu, and change the date.
Winter: April, August, and December
Summer: February, June, and October
Spring: January, May, and September
Autumn: March, July, and November

thats why my game says its summer....Guest answered:
You could just wait until next month like regular people. The game might not like you playing with the calendar.

Changed the clock to winter, but maybe it's like Diamond, when there was a 24 hour lockout for messing with the clock until the desired action occurs?
