maybe its your dsi try a diffifrent game and if it works then the game is probly messed up
The reason for this is that games not made in the US are PAL and your DSi is NTSC. Aka, games made somewhere else do not work in systems made in US.
ok pokemon black and white can both be played on US ds's/Dsi the reason why the game is not working is because one the game is not even made yet it wont be avail till sept 18th 2010 in japan then probably april 2011 in the USA. if you truly have the game then it is most defenitly a fake. sorry but you were taken advantage of by a scam artist.
The dsi has a reigion bloker. AKA only U.S games work on a U.S dsi.
ok i'm going to correct this one more time because i own a dsi and reg ds lite and own a few dif games that are jap and my dsi is Usa they work just fine on either. if your pokemon black game was real it would work but see its not...does not come out for another month...wait till it comes out then you will be able to play pokemon black
It does NOT work on a US/Can DSi. I received mine today from Japan. It works on the DSlite only.
This is PATHETIC. Lousy mix up of answers! Delete the rest, please!
Pokemon Black and White ARE DS games, BUT are DSi-Enhanced. THEREFORE, they are also subject to the DSi's REGION-LOCK.
So, to play them on DSi, you have to have a JAPANESE-MODEL DSi, or wait for your region-version of the games to be released.
OR you can just play them on ANY of the earlier versions of the DS systems. They have NO region-lock recognition, and as such CAN play Black
What Nintendo has done to the DSi's is that, when you try to play games from other countries they won't work and if you use an R4 or something similar to that they won't work either due to some patches that they have placed into the DSi's.
