Are there ways to get like ten thousand trainer points? Or do you have to do it little by little? Also is the breeding stuff the same on chiuahua and friends?

1. This cheat doesn't get you 10 thousand Trainer points at once, but get out the brush that works best on one dog. Then put the brush in the middle of the dog (in between the backline and the stomach) and put the charging cord on, and leave like that overnight. I don't knowexactly how much you get, but I think it's somewhere in between 600 and 1,000 Trainer points.
2. Yes, you can breed on all games. Not so sure about Nintendogs + Cats for the 3DS yet...

No. 99999 is the limit, I think. I have had my Nintendogs Chihuahua and Friends for 7 years and I only reached 99999. Myabe when you get Jack russels or something you get it.
