How do you get world 9 in the ds version? Add video proof, or ways you have tried.

Beat the game once, then go back to the final boss in world 8 with a mini shroom and go to the bowser fight, and use the mini shroom and defeat him by pressing the switch. When peach is freed a rain bow appears and she walks over it and mario follows her. Then you will be in world 9. The icon is small and above world 8.

No it does not work if u beat bowser in final level mario just turns into his short form, from mini form
