Question for New Super Mario Bros

I'm on world 7 and have just completed 7-5 and 7-6 but 7-7 isnt lighting up so I can start the game?

At the first area in 7-6 where you are on solid ground instead of giant mushrooms, jump up on the bottom layer of bricks, break the bricks above you, then drop down below and hit the middle brick. This will release a vine that will rise to the sky, and take you to a bonus level, then to the secret exit that leads to 7-7.
