How to be Yoshi, I'm sorry to say that you can not be yoshi in this game but in mini games you can be yoshi in a few of the games.

It is impossible to act as Yoshi in story mode, but in some mini games, you are forced to act as Yoshi, and in others, you can pick.

Yoshi is not in story mode only in the mini games but you can play as luigi! L are A=Luigi!
