There is not a world 9 in the ds version I'm accually happy because if there was I'd have to get all the star coins in each world.

I just figured out that there is no World 9 in Super Mario Bros DS.

World 9 is in the wii version only

There is actually not a world 9 for New Super Mario Bros DS, as you know. However, the reason why I am answering this question is because I know for a fact New Super Mario Bros. Wii and New Super Mario Bros you Deluxe both have a world nine, so you might be confusing them.
