Level 6 - First Tower - 3rd Coin
I have used up too many lives, and wasted too much time trying to get this thing! I've read numberous other cheat sites, and have heard two different things, both of which I've tried.
1) Jump on the Bones to be able to wall jump
2) Jump on the Bones to make it out of commission temporarily then, run and wall jump up
No matter what I do, I can't get up that pipe. I did it once using a stored mini mario mushroom I had (I've tried to go through the level as mini mario as well, but it's too hard to jump fast enough with all those spike wall coming at you) but then once I actually got up the pipe to that crazy room where the coin is, I died. I have been going through the motions of getting this coin for 2 days now, and it's driving me crazy!! Any tips would be very much appreciated. Thanks!

That is difficult... Try going in with another Mini Mushroom. Then you should be able to get in there. Be very careful this time. It takes a lot of luck.

Have you tried using Luigi.He can jump higher than Mario.Also, maybe you should try jumping on top of a Dry Bones and jump from there.Either way works really.

It's an easy one only thing you need is a minimuschroom in your extra pocket go to that place and become minimario now you can jump easy to that pipe.
Its also easy to defeat baby bowser because he doesn't use his shells (he begins to do that in the second castle) So you can jump baby bowser easy to heaven

Ok I just got it. When you wall jump you have to be holding down the run button in order to gain the height necessary. So kill Bones then hold whatever button it is you use to run then jump to the other wall and start wall jumping while holding run the whole time. Took me forever to realize I needed to hold that darn run button.
