So I'm in Thwomps Volcano and I forgot to go into the last pipe to make the pathway where all the three pipes are at. I went straight into fighting the Bowsers and died. I didn't go to the last save point where I left off, instead, I headed to Peach's Castle because I wanted to buy more items.
I headed back to Thwomps Volcano and realized that I cannot get to the last level where I can fight the Bowsers. What can I do now? I seriously do not want to start the game all over again! Argh.

You don't have to start the game all over again, you just have to go through the level a bit. Use the last pipe you *did* hit the switch for, then just go through again from there.
