There are so many good gear, ill say the best of each category and later combos
Overalls
A ok wear is best defensive overalls. Combos with rugged socks
Master wear is best special offensive overalls. Combos with special gloves
D star wear is best offensive overalls. Combos with daredevil boots
Socks
Rugged socks is best defensive socks, and pretty common to get by killing scutlets. Combos with a ok wear
Guardian socks regen lots of hp and sp per turn, and you can get 2 of them. Combos with siphon gloves
Grumption sock is amazing. It revive you with half hp every time you die. Super amazing. Combos with daredevil boots.
Bro socks are nice. They boost defense when a bro is dead. Combos amazingly with giant shell or lazy scarf
Gloves
Delicious gloves arent amazing, but can be used to get better syrups and better one up mushrooms for the price of one. Combos with tip top boots
Item gloves are op as hell, as you can get rare items just by hammering, you can get nice rare boss drops as well. Combos with ANYRTHING
Special gloves are nice can be gotten easily with item gloves, and give a nice boost to all specials. Combos with advice patch
Softener gloves are nice but risky. Get it with the item gloves, then lower emnemy defense massively. It can also raise it occasionaly thanks to a glitch, though. Combos with shroob boots
Mushroom gloves are good if you stock up on mushrooms. YOU CAN HEAL literally infinitely with this. Combos with tip top boots
Dx pow gloves boost power massively. Combos with dx pow bots
Siphon gloves can recobver sp from hammers. Combos with tight belt
Boots
Special boots are nice and valuable. Dont sell these as they boost special power. Combos with special gloves
Daredevil boots are extremely powerful, but are risky, one hit and you are dead. Combos with grumpion socks
Dx pow boots are same as the dx pow gloves. Combo together.
Shroob boots give offense down when jumped on enemy. It is very powerful for high power bosses. Combos with softener gloves
Tip top boots are good for those who are at full hp often. Otherwise useless. Combos with mushroom gloves
Dizzy boots are nice if you like grinding. Stuns enemies making killing them easier. Useless for bosses. Combos with most things

Giant shell absorbs many damage from small damage. Combos with bro socks
Lazy scarf is spectacular. Massively boosts defense when hp is low. Combos with bro socks
Advice patch is nice if you like variety in specials or are lucky. Combos with master wear
Vengence cape is amazing. Slightly boosts power when you get hit. Good for those who want power and are bad at dodging. Combos with dx pow boots
Pow mush jam is good for those with low power and lots of mushrooms. Increases offense when using mushrooms. Combos with mushroom gloves
Def mush jam is the same as the pow mush jam, except with defense instead of offense. Combos with mushroom gloves.
