To beat Dark Star, you have to hammer the mini dark star minions at him twice in order to make him vulnerable. He's otherwise completely invulnerable, and jumping will harm you by 1 hit point. Also when he's defeated he'll try to suck the bros in as a Suicide move. Press A and B as fast as possible cause if the bros get sucked in they could very well get killed by the suicide move.

To beat him, kill the dark star minions and shoot them at him. But watch out. You can only attack him 2 times. After you beat him, he will try to suck you up. WHICH BOSS DOES THAT RIGHT BEFORE HE/SHE IS DIEING!!!!!!!
