Question for Mario Kart DS

When I play WiFi, a few other karts go abnormaly fast like in a permanent mushroom boost and kind of fly in the air and go all zigzaggy. I can never beat them. Their always WAY ahead. What is it? Do you need a gameshark for it or something? Is everyone else cheating? Someone please respond. Also what does R.O.B (that robot guy that you unlock at the end) really stand for.

The wifi one is because when the information travels from each ds to ds it might be slow so the other kart gets away quicker.

R.o.b stands for robot operating buddy

kingrhino answered:

They do a technique called snaking. What they do is lots of drift turbos everywhere.I do it all the time. And R.O.B stands for Robot Operating Buddy I think.

Zelda_Fan answered:

I don't know about your first question, but I can tell you a bit about you second. R.O.B stands for Robotic Operating Buddy and was an accessory for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). The R.O.B was only compatible with two games; a game called Gyromite and a game called Stack Up. It was like an Eye-Toy in the sense that it was used for barely any games, yet cost a fair bit when bought alone. I hope you have learned something about the R.O.B.
