Question for Mario Kart DS

Hi I have 2 questions mabe some one could help the fist is: I've seen people snaking on wi but I don't even know how to do it, could some one please tell me how?

And the other is: when your on wi you see people with stars over there name how do these people get these and also how do you see how many times you have won and lost?

1)Pick a kart with low drift and high acceleration (egg1 or drybomber.) then, powerslide left on a straightaway, and immeadetly powerslide right. Repeat for as long as the straight lasts.

2)you get stars for your ranks in prixs. To get
1star)have all of your rankings in all of the prixs at 1 star or above
2stars)Have all of your rankings in all of the prixs at 2 stars or above
3stars)have all of your rankings in all of the prixs at 3 stars.

3)Tap records at the title screen (lower left corner)

On a straight pwerslide to the left and then to the right.
GET IT RIGHT OR YOU'LL GO INTO A WALL!
Depends on your rating in cups.

Answer 1 question I can.
Well to snake you have to pick a kart like db,toads,egg1.
Keep doing boosts super quickly over and over again in a straight line and it will make you go really fast.
Oh I forgot keep going left right left right.
A good track is on f-8 on the big long straights
