Question for Mario Kart DS
Why my mario kart won't let me move on to the next cup on grand prix if I get in first place all races and all the other cups have ratings?

In order to unlock star cup, you must place 1st in the mushroom and flower cup. To unlock the leaf cup, you need to place 1st in the shell and banana cup. Then to unlock special cup, you must get 1st place in the star cup and to unlock lightning cup you need to get 1st in the leaf cup.
