On WFC, how do you stop people from disconnecting...?

I mean you win 2/3 races and people just disconnect and you get no points and no wins???

WHYYYY?

If people disconnect they should lose points/losses etc no?

Anyone know anything?

You can't. It's something that Nintendo, for God knows what reason, thought would be fair. If someone disconnects, you don't get a result.

Nintendo realised that this was an issue, and changed it on Mario Kart Wii (which has better online play than Mario Kart DS anyway) so that if you disconnect, you'll automatically have finished in last place unless someone disconnected before you, so that people are discouraged from disconnecting. Also, if, on the very rare occasion that you're only racing one other person, if they disconnect you automatically win. However, races will continue until the end in almost every case, even if a player or two disconnects.
