Question for Harvest Moon DS Cute

A random stray dog wandered on to my farm?! Does anyone have a clue why it happened and how I can get it to leave?!

ITS A WILD DOG! IT CHASES YOUR CHICKENS WHEN UNFENCED! YOU COULD USE YOUR DOD TO CHASE IT AWAY!

I would assume that you'd let it out of where ever you have it (mine is in a 6X6 fenced area wayyyy off in the corner where I can't see it, but some people have it in the bird shed or animal barn or the horse pen, maybe in the house)

If it's at night, it means that you lefts animals outside during the night, and the dog won't leave until you put your animals back in. Cows, chickens, and ducks wouldn't give you produce the next morning if kept like this, and all animals will be in a bad mood if they aren't put away.
