Marriage.

If you marry a Mineral Town boy, will my game end...? I like Kai, Cliff, Grey, and Skye, so I'll marry Skye if the others mean my game will end.

Your game will not end if you marry a mineral town boy. That only occured in HMDS boy version when you married a mineral town girl. By the way, Skye is a very good choice if you want to marry someone with class and feelings.
