Question for Harvest Moon DS

I have a problem. My wife Leia got blown away in a storm because the glitch happened. Can I get another wife? If so how?

Wow that is a total bummer!!
I tried to research this and didn't have much luck on the mermaid glitch. I sure hope someone else knows this answer!!!

Well, even though Leia died(technically), you can't get re-married. That's why you should check the weather every day to check what the next days weather will be, and if it's going to be anything that can destroy the pond, save before your character goes to sleep. Then, if Leia died, you can turn your game off and back on again.

Sorry, but no. The best thing to do now is just start your game over. If you want to marry Leia again, then I have some tips. After you've had the first pond for a while, then build a new one. It will be stronger. If you can have 2 ponds, (I don't know if you can or not) then build a second pond. That way if one is destroyed, Leia has another to live in.

Umm if your're wife is blown away she dies and cannot remarry also you can't buy a second pond you can only make a pond again when it is destroyed
