Question for Harvest Moon DS

I see everyone talking about having a brush to get milk or to shear their animal but I don't have a brush.why is this and please explain to me how to get one.

I also want to marry muffy and I'm not getting any heart events and I always give her things like flowers and jewley.what am I doing wrong?

Can sum1 please help me.

I believe that you have to call Rick on the phone to get your brush for your big animals. You can get your scissors from him as well. Well, I can only guess that you're not seeing her heart events because you're not at the right place at the right time.... Here ya go....

Black Heart Event: at Blue Bar 3.00 p.m. To 5.00 p.m.
Purple Heart Event: at beach, 9.00 a.m. To 11.00 a.m.any rainy day but Wednesday
Blue Heart Event: at Blue Bar, 6.00 p.m. To 8.00 p.m. Any day but Wednesday
Yellow Heart Event: when you exit farmhouse, 9.20 a.m. To noon on a sunny summer day

1. You don't start out with a brush or milker. Buy them at Saibara's Blacksmith.

2. You get the heart events buy visitig her at a certain time. For the black heart event go to the Blue Bar at 4:00 or right when she walks in there in the evening. Choose "Cheerful and pretty" when she talks to you.

With the brush and shears you have to buy those over the phone.... Just call saibara the blacksmith and he will sell them to you.
